Post-Acquisition Transition of Accounting Function
A global communications software company acquired by a PE-backed software company required assistance in post-close integration. Vireo led the planning and migration of the accounting function to the new corporate headquarters. This involved re-creating sales-to-finance processes, migrating accounting systems to Netsuite, and training corporate staff on nuances of communications billing.
Vireo completed the migration within 3 months after the close. During the process, our team was able to identify key aspects of Netsuite’s capabilities which the corporate staff was unaware of and was able to train them on those capabilities, refine several accounting and finance processes, and implement enhanced reporting capabilities.

Controller Services for SaaS Company
A SaaS company serving some of the fastest growing technology companies in the world, faced the challenge of implementing new revenue recognition rules according to GAAP, as well as needing to build out the accounting function to service its rapid growth.
Vireo quickly activated a seasoned VP of Finance with SaaS company experience to lead this long-term project. Some milestones achieved included the successful implementation of ASC 606 for revenue recognition; migration to a more capable accounting system with API’s capable of integrating with other operational software; and implementing multiple automation tools to expedite order-to-cash processes and manage expenses.

A $20MM logistics company correctly identified its need to differentiate itself from other market players by implementing the latest technology in that sector, and offering those enhancements as value-adds to its customers. The leadership,however, needed support in both developing and implementing a technology roadmap with its team.
Vireo’s technology team worked with leadership and IT staff to plan and execute on a cloud migration strategy, setting the stage for a fully cloud-based organization.
